This notice is to advise you that the TSCC AGM will take place on Sunday 26th April 2026 at the Ajax Water Activities Centre, Ditton Reach, Thames Ditton,  Surrey KT7 0XB, with arrival at 1.45pm for a 2pm start.

The Statement of Financial Activities for the 12 months ending on 31st March 2025 will be circulated as soon as this has been prepared.

We do hope you will join us for our AGM when, as usual, there will also be the opportunity to chat and catch up with other members over a cup of tea or coffee and some light refreshments.

As ever, we will be relying on all members to bring along a contribution to the nibbles.  Committee members will bring sandwiches and other members are requested to bring cakes and / or savouries.  All contributions gratefully appreciated but if possible home-made would be fantastic!  Tea and coffee will be supplied.

Please find attached details of a TSCC theatre trip to see the highly acclaimed ‘Jersey Boys’ at the New Wimbledon Theatre on Wednesday 17th June.

To assist with your forward planning, here are the outline details of the TSCC 2026 Thames Cruise:

Dates:

Saturday 20th – Wednesday 24th June

Itinerary:

Saturday – Group lunch in Windsor

Sunday – Free day

Monday – To Cookham with early evening barbeque

Tuesday – To Henley with informal evening meal for those interested

Wednesday – Henley. Games in the afternoon followed by group dinner.

Non-boaters are welcome to join the group events in Windsor, Cookham and Henley.

Those wishing to join the games afternoon and group dinner in Henley may wish to book a room on the Wednesday night at The Catherine Wheel in Henley. Early booking is recommended.

We hope you will be able to join us for all or part of this event, and whilst it is a little downstream, it would be great if you could give us an indication of when we might hope to have the pleasure of your company, whether on the water or ashore.

Please find attached details of a TSCC Summer Getaway to Warners Sinah Warren on the sunny south coast.

To secure your room at this special group rate, we need just a £10 deposit per person with the balance payable in April.

If you are interested to join us but do not have transport let us know and we will see if we can organise a car share.

We do hope you will be joining us for what should we a warm and relaxing break with plenty to see and do, both at the resort and in the surrounding area.

Dear All

We are delighted at the very positive response to our proposed Finale Norfolk Broads Cruise.

I confirm the dates will be Friday 11th – Friday 18th September 2026.

We are delighted to announce that next year we will be going with a different boat hire company, Barnes Brinkcraft, based in Wroxham.

They offer very competitive pricing and, not only a range of Elite boats, but also a Mid- Range fleet, mostly former Elite craft. In addition, they offer No Frills boats for those seeking to minimise costs.

Please find attached a schedule of boats currently available and the price per head depending on the number sharing. Note: These prices include not only the boat hire but also three group meals and any necessary transportation.

If you have already indicated your interest and wish to confirm your participation, we now need a deposit of £180 per boat to secure your chosen craft. The balance is payable three months before departure.

Please transfer your deposit to the TSCC Treasurer in the normal way with the reference “Broads”. Please then let us know you have made the transfer and which boat you would like us to reserve.

If you have not yet registered your interest, we really do hope you will join us. If you are interested but would like to share a boat, let us know and we will see if there are others in the same situation.

And if your needs at not met by any of the craft listed on the schedule, again please let us know and we will see what alternatives may be available.

We do hope you will be joining us and we are already looking forward to another week of fantastic fun afloat.
