Dear All
We do hope you will join us at the home of Dave Gray for afternoon tea and the opportunity to visit the BMG Cycle Museum.
Located at the bottom of Dave’s garden in a brand-new purpose-built facility, the BMG Cycle Museum contains an extensive collection of bicycles dating as far back as the 19th century. All are meticulously labelled, providing an instant insight into their history and unusual features. Over the years, Dave has amassed around 200 cycles, many rare and unusual. In addition to the large number on display in the museum, Dave has many more in storage. Also on display is an extensive collection of cycling-related artifacts, again collected over several decades.
Afternoon tea will be served in Dave’s garden, which, Tardis like, contains numerous interesting nooks and crannies in which to relax and enjoy a convivial cup of tea together with a selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones.
The BMG Cycle Museum is named after Dave’s late wife Brenda, who many members will have known from various Club events.
The address is:
5 Castle Way
Hanworth Park
Middlesex TW13 7NW
There is ample nearby on street parking and we will endeavour to put some balloons outside the entrance so you can easily identify the house.
The cost for the afternoon will be £10 per person to cover the afternoon tea and a charitable donation.
We very much hope you will be joining us. To confirm your attendance please transfer £10 per person to the Club in the usual way, with the reference “BMG”
With best regards
Mark
