If you have never visited Liverpool you will be amazed and surprised at all it has to offer. Once the second most powerful city in the British Empire and the world’s largest port, Liverpool has more Georgian buildings than Bath and it is a former European City of Culture. It also contains six areas designated as UNESCO world heritage sites! And of course, it is the home of the Beatles and the birthplace of the British pop music revolution! In recent years Liverpool has undergone an astonishing regeneration and in 2018 it was rated one of the top three UK destinations in a TripAdvisor traveller poll.

It’s that time of year again, clocks soon going back, Halloween and of course the TSCC Annual Dinner so please see the attached flyer and menu and let me have your menu choices as soon as possible but by Sunday 20th October at latest.
The subject for the 2019 Ray Andrews Photo Competition is “Summer Sun” which should provide plenty of scope.

Our AGMs are always well attended as they provide the opportunity to reminisce over the past year’s events and to put our names down for future events as well as just chatting among ourselves over tea.
The Committee members will bring sandwiches and it will be appreciated if other members were to bring cakes and / or savouries for our social tea party after the AGM. Tea and Coffee will be supplied by TSCC.
