GLYNDEBOURNE CHRISTMAS CONCERT

To All TSCC Members

 

Dear All

 

We have reserved a block of tickets for a Christmas concert at the world-famous Glyndebourne opera house at 3.00pm on Friday 12^th December.  The tickets are in the upper circle and the cost is £25.50.  There is lift access from the ground floor to the upper circle.

 

We plan to arrange a pre-concert festive lunch at a nearby pub.

 

This is the first such concert organised by Glyndebourne and it promises to be a very special event.  Featuring the Glyndebourne Chorus and Synfonia, the concert will include opera highlights, popular orchestral showpieces and singalong carols that will enable us to exercise our lungs and work off our festive lunch.

 

We do hope you will be joining us and, if so, we need your confirmation and payment no later than Friday 23^rd May.  Depending on your start point, the journey time is around 1 hour 15 minutes.  If you would like to join us but need transport, please let me know asap so we can see what can be arranged.

 

We will provide details of the pub lunch a little nearer to the time.
