DESCRIPTION:Dear All \n\nWe are delighted at the very positive response to our proposed Finale Norfolk Broads Cruise. \n\nI confirm the dates will be Friday 11th – Friday 18th September 2026. \n\nWe are delighted to announce that next year we will be going with a different boat hire company\, Barnes Brinkcraft\, based in Wroxham. \n\nThey offer very competitive pricing and\, not only a range of Elite boats\, but also a Mid- Range fleet\, mostly former Elite craft.  In addition\, they offer No Frills boats for those seeking to minimise costs. \n\nPlease find attached a schedule of boats currently available and the price per head depending on the number sharing.  Note: These prices include not only the boat hire but also three group meals and any necessary transportation. \n\nIf you have already indicated your interest and wish to confirm your participation\, we now need a deposit of £180 per boat to secure your chosen craft.  The balance is payable three months before departure. \n\nPlease transfer your deposit to the TSCC Treasurer in the normal way with the reference “Broads”.  Please then let us know you have made the transfer and which boat you would like us to reserve. \n\nIf you have not yet registered your interest\, we really do hope you will join us.  If you are interested but would like to share a boat\, let us know and we will see if there are others in the same situation. \n\nAnd if your needs at not met by any of the craft listed on the schedule\, again please let us know and we will see what alternatives may be available. \n\nWe do hope you will be joining us and we are already looking forward to another week of fantastic fun afloat. \n\nWith very best regards \n\nMark and Jackie

DESCRIPTION:To All TSCC Members \n  \nDear All \n  \nWe have reserved a block of tickets for a Christmas concert at the world-famous Glyndebourne opera house at 3.00pm on Friday 12th December.  The tickets are in the upper circle and the cost is £25.50.  There is lift access from the ground floor to the upper circle. \n  \nWe plan to arrange a pre-concert festive lunch at a nearby pub. \n  \nThis is the first such concert organised by Glyndebourne and it promises to be a very special event.  Featuring the Glyndebourne Chorus and Synfonia\, the concert will include opera highlights\, popular orchestral showpieces and singalong carols that will enable us to exercise our lungs and work off our festive lunch. \n  \nWe do hope you will be joining us and\, if so\, we need your confirmation and payment no later than Friday 23rd May.  Depending on your start point\, the journey time is around 1 hour 15 minutes.  If you would like to join us but need transport\, please let me know asap so we can see what can be arranged. \n  \nWe will provide details of the pub lunch a little nearer to the time. \n  \nWe look forward to hearing from you and to ending the year with a truly festive get-together. \n  \nWith best regards \n  \nMark

DESCRIPTION:Dear All \n  \nPlease do not ignore this email just because you have no boat! \n  \nThis year’s TSCC Thames Cruise will be a little different – and with something for everyone.  \n  \nHere’s the plan: \n  \nSunday 15h June – The cruise will start at Windsor. \nTo kick-off the festivities there will be a group Sunday lunch at the Boatman\, a riverside gastropub in Windsor. All members are invited to join us for a relaxed and convivial get-together. Cost for Sunday roast £21.50pp including service. For non-boaters\, the station car park is right next to the Boatman and\, if this is full\, there are two further\, less popular\, parking areas just the other side of the station. \n  \nMonday 16th June \nOn the Monday we will cruise to the ‘Town Moorings’ in Cookham.  In the late afternoon we will have a group barbeque on the large and pleasant grassy area beside the river. If you are a non-boater\, you can get your car very close to the moorings to drop off your passengers\, picnic chairs etc.  Access is via Berries Road\, which is off the High Street next to the Crown Inn.  There is ample free parking on the High Street.  \nAll members are invited to join us. Cost £10.50pp. \n  \nWednesday 18th and Thursday 19th June \nOn the Wednesday and Thursday nights we will be mooring near to the Rowing Museum in Henley on Thames. \n  \nFor non-boaters\, overnight accommodation is available at the Catherine Wheel Hotel in Henley.  On the Wednesday night\, rooms cost just over £100 for two persons but availability is limited!  \n  \nWhy not come and join us for the Wednesday evening and the Thursday?  Everyone is invited. \n  \nHere’s the plan: \n  \nWednesday evening – We will meet for an evening meal at Pokhara Delight\, a highly rated Nepalese restaurant.  Cost for shared starters\, main course with rice\, and nan: £22.50pp including service. \nThursday morning – Our annual fun and games will take place late morning on the meadows by the boats.  We will provide a light lunch with sandwiches\, cake\, cream scones\, tea / coffee. Cost £7.50pp. \nThursday afternoon – Non-boaters can explore Henley\, chill out by the river\, take a river cruise with Hobbs of Henley – or even hire a dayboat by the hour! \nThursday evening – We will meet for our finale group dinner at Al Forno\, an excellent independent Italian restaurant.  It will be an early evening event so those not staying overnight can get home at a reasonable time.  If you are a non-boater and decide to stay the Thursday night\, you are invited back to the boats for a finale nightcap.  Cost for starter\, pizza / pasta main\, plus dessert:  £33.00pp including service.  (Meat / fish main course alternatives are available for a supplement). \n  \nWe do hope you will join us for all or part of this annual flagship cruising event. \n  \nWhether you will be boating\, or simply joining in the fun\, it would be very helpful if you could give us an indication of your likely plans as soon as possible so that we in turn can plan accordingly.  \n  \nAnd if you are a non-boater and would like to stay at the Catherine Wheel\, we suggest you book a room without delay.  Rooms can be cancelled without charge up to the day before arrival. \n  \nWe look forward to hearing from you and to another fantastic week afloat. \n  \nWith best regards \n  \nMark
